The National Non-Food Crop Centre,
UK
Purpose of the Center is to provide a single, independent and authoritative
source of information on the use and implementation of non-food crop products
and technologies. The Center disseminates scientific and technical information
on these issues as widely as possible in order to increase knowledge and
understanding, to initiate and facilitate technology uptake and to meet the
government's and society's wider objectives for sustainable development.
Office of Biorenewables
Programs, Iowa State University
The Office of Biorenewables Programs (OBP) is an outgrowth of the Bioeconomy
Initiative to investigate the use of biorenewable resources as sustainable
feedstocks for producing chemicals, fuels, materials, and energy. The OBP has
over 140 faculty affilated members who contribute to the Bioeconomy Initiative
with over $37 million in cumulative sponsored research funding from industry and
federal agencies ranging from the Department of Agriculture to the National
Science Foundation.
