Agency of Renewable Resources (FNR)
In 1993 the Agency was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Nourishment,
Agriculture and Forestry Germany in order to support research and development in
the subject area of renewable resources. Beside professional consultation and
financial support, the Agency takes part in scientific events, notifies current
results of research to the public and informs about the whole range of
applications of renewable resources.

BioEnterprise
BioEnterprise Corporation is a not-for-profit company founded in 2003 through
the financial support of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Ontario
Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. BioEnterprise is a
commercialization agent, established to help promote the creation, growth and
expansion of businesses in the Agri-Food and Agri-Life Sciences and Bio-Product
Industries.
BioMatNet
BioMatNet is the activity of the EPOBIO project that makes available the results
from RTD projects supported by the European Commission in the area of Biological
Materials for Non-Food Products (Renewable Bioproducts). It includes final
results from the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5), FAIR Programme (FP4) and
previous programmes, as well as ongoing research from the Fifth and Sixth
Framework Programmes (FP5 and FP6).
Biotechnology Industry Organization
BIO advocates the biotechnology industry's positions to elected officials and
regulators, informs national and international media about the industry's
progress, contributions to quality of life, goals and positions, and provides
business development services to member companies, such as investor and
partnering meetings.
The Association for the Advancement for
Industrial Crops (AAIC)
The Association is an international, nonprofit educational and scientific
organization established to Encourage and promote the activities of those
involved in the production, processing, development, and commercialization of
industrial crops and products derived from industrial crops.
National
Agricultural Biotechnology Council (NABC)
The Council is a not-for-profit consortium of 34 leading
agricultural research and teaching governmental
agencies/institutions/universities in the U.S. and Canada, that provides
all stakeholders the opportunity to speak, to listen, and to learn about the
issues surrounding agricultural biotechnology.
New Uses Council
The Council is a dynamic and expanding non-profit membership organization
dedicated to the development and commercialization of biobased products.
Strategic Plan for Biobased Products through the Biobased Products and Bioenergy Coordination
Council (BBCC), USDA
USDA formed the Council whose goal is to carry out programs to increase the
domestic research, development and commercialization of biobased industrial and
commercial products.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI)
The Fraunhofer-Society is the leading organization for applied research in
Europe and undertakes applied research of direct utility to private and public
enterprise and of wide benefit to society. The Fraunhofer ISI complements the
techno-scientific spectrum of the Society by economic and social aspects and
analyses technological developments, their market potentials and their impacts
on economy, government, and society.
Wisconsin Consortium on
Biobased Economy
The Consortium was appointed by Governor Doyle to develop a roadmap that will
help state leaders create policies and programs that let Wisconsin businesses,
educational institutions and its skilled labor force seize opportunity and
benefits of the use of plant and animal based materials to produce fuels and
products that successfully compete with fossil based petrochemicals in quality,
cost and minimal adverse environmental impact.
Wisconsin Technology Network (WTN)
The Wisconsin Technology Network mission is to connect the people, technology,
and ideas driving the advancement of life sciences, biotechnology, and
information technology in Wisconsin along with clusters and corridors throughout
the Midwest.
